If you have a homeless shelter near you and would like to offer practical help rather than donate, offer to take a bag of clothes to be washed and returned. That way the right sized clothing becomes more available. #Lifeonthestreets#RoughSleepers
@nevillehurst2 @Jayrgoodall A home is the ideal thing, it's not going to happen over night and this will help folk on the streets with day to day living. Without bank accounts you can't receive any benefits and lots on the streets are struggling because of it every day.
What a excellent idea, a postal address gives #homeless a chance of a bank account and easier benefit payments.

@Stephen888WTF @twychy1 But it helps with day to day living for #Roughsleepers we all know it's not the right solution that's down to those wonderful people in government
@mattsnan @irisstylosa But only if you have a bank account for them to be paid into. No cash payments can be done any more and if you don't have proof of address you can't open an account
@DavidLife6 Local councils could also do it in city hall. All simple answers but no profit in it. If the government had any sense they would make sure every person leaving prison had a bank account to help with the problem to.
@DavidLife6 You can use the local job centre as a address for benefits but they have to be paid into a bank account. Getting a bank account with no fixed address is the hard part.
Rough sleepers moving into accommodation can find it as tough as being out on the streets. We aim to help make this transition easier. https://t.co/JE81FlMonn
