@AdjutantRackham@realDailyWire …he said chiming in on Twitter of all places.
Peterson has a PA and a PhD. Had a successful practice and taught in university.
Do you see the irony in your statement?
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson The groupings need to be objective. In no other area of competition do we allow the competitor to choose these things. Your weight class isn’t something you get to decide. Why should you be able to decide on which gender you are in a national competition?
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson Ugh… they are definitionally a “special grouping”. They are not biologically women, they did not develop as women, they have different bodily structures to other women, from the sizes of their hands/feet, to their muscle groupings, to their skeleton.
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson Should a 26 year old white man be allowed to identify as an elderly black woman? If he really feels like he is? Should he be eligible for any government programs designed to help those protected classes?
It’s nonsense. There is such a thing as an objective truth.
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson This whole argument is just ridiculous. You aren’t a biological woman just because you believe you are. Society has the liberty to treat you with respect and should. However, what other biological markers should we be allowed to decide for ourselves? Age? Race?
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson How you feel about someone’s subjective feelings about who they are and what sex they purport to be is irrelevant.
It’s about an even playing field. Should the accomplishments of women mean nothing because of how one persons subjective feelings about themselves?
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson And the solution should be simple. Were you born and did you develop as a woman? Yes? Then you compete against other women who were born and developed as women. Regardless of how you feel about your gender. Maybe that’s just fair to your fellow competitors.
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson Regardless. There is a huge difference. Like allowing a woman to take steroids for the first 30 years of her life, developing more muscles, more height, bigger hands and feet, only to come off of them for 6 months and compete against other women who have no such advantages
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson I’ll try. Just stop saying I’ve said thing that I haven’t said. Especially if you feel like it somehow legitimizes you dismissing my viewpoint
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson Take all the time you need, but you don’t have to read several articles to observe logically that men outperform women in virtually every sport.
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson Again… I never said I have “all the information.”
Honestly, does this normally work? You just say I said things that I never said? I suggest you take issue with the specific argument and not how you feel about the person you’ve stereotyped me into.
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson See, to me that reads as, “even though you haven’t done or said anything I’ve accused you of, you have a view point I don’t like so even though I have no evidence to back up my claims, I’m going to dismiss your viewpoint.”
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson You’ve responded 10+ times and failed to address the point you said that you would, and don’t quote me out of context. I said I was still waiting for you to answer the question that you said you would answer. Not that I was waiting for you to respond.
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson We aren’t talking about a general overview of what Peterson believes and I’d appreciate you stay on topic.
I asked you to explain why you believe men do not have a physical advantage over women in general, but more specifically in sports competition.
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson Not claiming a monopoly on anything. You do that a lot. Say that I said things that I haven’t. But a logical person might look at the entire amount of information about men and women athletes and reasonably conclude men have a distinct advantage in almost every sport.
@Steelrubber1@theramblingfool@jordanbpeterson Again… I never implied you had to respond quicker or that you were obligated to respond at all or quicker for that matter. Is that a tactic or something? To suggest I said things that I haven’t?. I’m working my day job too and respond on my breaks and I’m currently on lunch.
