Residents of Shaw Castle, it's your time!
The long-awaited project to rehabilitate the Shaw Castle road will get underway this week!

Today, I drove through with the National Works Agency and the contractors- FSC Construction, and was assured that work will commence tomorrow.

Scores of residents of St. James Southern have benefited from welfare support, skills training and work placement, says Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister (West) and Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Homer Davis.

In his recent contribution to the 2024/25 Constituency Debate in the House of Representatives, Mr. Davis informed that 50 persons have received assistance including payment of funeral expenses, medical aid and care packages through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

“We continue to reach out to residents through provisions made by the CDF. This assistance includes short-term poverty alleviation and welfare assistance to the most vulnerable,” he noted.

The MP said that housing repairs and aid to farmers are also supported through the fund.
