According to TRREB data, the first quarter saw a total of 4,747 condo apartment units sold in Toronto. This figure represents a 5.3% increase from last year. Also, new condo listings soared by 23% in comparison to the first three months of 2023.

Jennifer Pearce, President of the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB), publicly stated that the decreasing borrowing costs over the next 18 months are expected to attract more buyers to enter the market, including a significant number of first-time homebuyers.
REALTORSยฎ reported 7,013 residential property transactions through TRREB's Multiple Listing Service (MLSยฎ) System in May 2024. This figure represents a substantial 21.7% decrease compared to the 8,960 sales recorded in May of 2023.
