We are incredibly proud and honoured that THE HomeShare has been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories at the upcoming Irish Healthcare Centre Awards 2025 #IHCA25
Older Person Services (Private) and Homecare/Assisted Living Provider (Private).
This recognition means so much to us—not just as a team, but as a movement toward real change in how we care for and value older people in Ireland.
Traditional homecare models—often limited to three short visits per day—no longer meet the complex and evolving needs of many older people. Individuals require more than basic tasks; they deserve overnight security, emergency support, and, just as importantly, companionship to combat social isolation and loneliness. They need to feel safe, supported, and seen—day and night.
At THE HomeShare, we believe that ageing should not mean withdrawing from life, but embracing a new chapter with purpose, connection, and dignity. We work to ensure that our participants continue to feel needed, valued, and connected to their communities—contributing to society, not sidelined by it.
This nomination reflects the power of innovation in care and the vital importance of giving families real, compassionate options to support their loved ones’ wish to remain living in their own homes—the homes they built through a lifetime of love, work, and sacrifice.
Being recognised in these categories strengthens our resolve to keep challenging the status quo, expanding the conversation, and redefining what “care” really means in today’s Ireland.
Thank you to the Irish Healthcare Centre Awards for this honour, and congratulations to all the fellow finalists who are working tirelessly to improve the lives of those who need it most.#thinkhomeshare #togetherhelpingeachother
