@AmbJapanUK Since Iโve enjoyed your work for so long, I though iโd share that Iโm out with three @LivAncWorlds enjoying the marvellous Japanese seafood on Rebun Island on our collaborative archaeological research & teaching programme hosted by @HokkaidoUni at the Hamanaka II site! Fantastic!
Small manifestations of reality Ukrainians live in:
The tag says: โMy dog is home alone. Please, inform the people, <indicated> on the other side of the tagโ.
If it seems like a regular tag to you, think why Ukrainians put it on their keychains.
Wishing all my Mongolian friends and colleagues a very Happy Naadam! Sorry not to be with our team in the field this year, but at least Iโve made it down for UK Naadam in London :)
JD Vance laughing when talking about Putin invading Ukraine
Ahahaha, how funny! A sovereign state was invaded, its towns and villages destroyed, people killed, and children kidnapped. There is torture, looting, and rape. hahaha.
Moron.
More than 600 British service personnel lost their lives fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq. Soldiers from more than a dozen European nations were killed on those conflicts, including a number from Ukraine. They were sent to those places following the terrorist attacks on Washington and New York. How quickly you forget Lindsey.
After yesterday's events in the White House, Haltbakk Bunkers, one of Norway's largest marine fuel companies, appears to have announced that it will no longer refuel American Navy vessels.
Haltbakk has called on other European companies to refuse service to American forces.
Even if the UK is the only country in the world supporting Ukraine, we should keep supporting them.
They are on the front line of our defence. Their sons and daughters are fighting and dying for our freedom.
We should be thanking them.
Russia illegally and unjustifiably invaded Ukraine.
For three years now, Ukrainians have fought with courage and resilience. Their fight for democracy, freedom, and sovereignty is a fight that matters to us all.
Canada will continue to stand with Ukraine and Ukrainians in achieving a just and lasting peace.
I cannot remember a moment in American history when our foreign policy shifted so dramatically & quickly.
Trump doesn't want to be the leader of the free world. He wants to join the autocratic world.
I hope the US Congress and the American people will prevent this switch.
There is an aggressor: Russia.
There is a victim: Ukraine.
We were right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia three years agoโand to keep doing so.
By โwe,โ I mean the Americans, the Europeans, the Canadians, the Japanese, and many others.
Thank you to all who have helped and continue to do so. And respect to those who have been fighting since the beginningโbecause they are fighting for their dignity, their independence, their children, and the security of Europe.
Generations of American patriots, from our revolution onward, have fought for the principles Zelenskyy is risking his life to defend. But today, Donald Trump and JD Vance attacked Zelenskyy and pressured him to surrender the freedom of his people to the KGB war criminal who invaded Ukraine. History will remember this dayโ when an American President and Vice President abandoned all we stand for.
Trump and Vance act as if the problem is that Ukraine is resisting an ongoing Russian invasion. The problem is the ongoing Russian invasion. If they want to use American power to stop the war, apply it to the aggressor. Abusing the victim is not going to end a war of aggression.
