Today, I participated in the AfCFTA Ministers’ Dialogue held during #IATF2025 in Algeria, hosted by H.E. Prof. Kamel Rezig. Discussions focused on accelerating AfCFTA implementation, boosting industrialization, job creation, and strengthening Africa’s economic integration.

Had a productive visit to the customs office at Aden Adde International Airport today with Minister of Agriculture, Mohamed Abdi Hayir (Maareeye). We focused on improving the management of imported goods, especially vegetables, to boost local production and support our farmers.

Today, alongside @SoDMA_Somalia Commissioner, Mr. Mohamoud Moallim Abdulle, we dispatched 500 tons of food aid from #Mogadishu Port. This generous support from the Chinese government will be delivered to @SSCKhaatumo regions, greatly benefiting local communities.
