RAILA’S LEGACY, OUR UNITY, AND OUR FUTURE

On 2 October, I joined my people of Yala Township Ward for a candle lighting ceremony in honour of Raila Amollo Odinga—Baba, the people’s president. What followed left me deeply troubled.

As we look towards 2027, let us embrace our differences and respect one another regardless of political affiliation. Let politics become a vehicle for development, dignity, opportunity and service, not a weapon for dividing brothers and sisters.
