I am saddened this afternoon to learn that we have lost our dear friend and colleague, the Member of Parliament for Ol Kalou Constituency, Hon. David Njuguna Kiaraho. He was a dedicated legislator and a steadfast servant of the people. His untimely demise is a great loss.

This morning, as Kenya Kwanza MPs and Government officials from Machakos, Makueni and Kitui Counties, we had a meeting with The President H.E Dr. William Ruto, EGH. The purpose was to plan the upcoming tour of Ukambani before and after Mashujaa Day celebrations.
The President is expected to tour the three counties on Wednesday 15th, Friday 17th, Mashujaa day Monday 20th, Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd to launch different projects in several constituencies.
For Kitui South, the president will tour Ikutha town on Friday the 17th.
Together, we not only celebrated this milestone but also raised our voices against gender-based violence, reaffirming our commitment to protecting women and children and building safer and a more inclusive communities.
Today I hosted Members of Parliament in my constituency, Kitui South, to witness the disbursement of over KSh 40 million to empower women and youth. The funds KSh 4.2 million from the Uwezo Fund, KSh 358,699 from the Women Pamoja Fund, and KSh 35 million from the NG-CDF Kitui S.
The money will support businesses, welfare programs, and promote self-reliance. The event was graced by 19 MPs from across the country, including Hon. Gladys Boss Shollei (Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly), Hon. Jerusha Momanyi (Women Rep, Kisii) among others
