Isaac Boro Lives On!
On this 56th Remembrance Day, we salute the courageous move by Late Major Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro and other illustrious sons of Ijaw Nation who fought for the emancipation of our people.
Today like other days, we appreciate the strength of his doggedness, resilience, selflessness, and patriotism to the great people of Ijaw nation and entire Niger Delta region.
His struggles together with others have yielded numerous benefits not just to the Ijaw Nation, but the entire Nigerian State.
And as we celebrate this revered day of our hero, Boro, we should not forget the principles, life lessons and the motivation behind the Ijaw Struggle, so that the labour of our heroes past will not be in vain.
The spirit of Late Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro lives on as we continue to demand for true federalism, resource control, equity and justice from the Nigerian State!
Today, I decided to go and see the progress made so far on the ongoing construction of the Nembe-Brass road.
The progress on the first phase of 21km is very appreciable.
I must appreciate Mr. President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his approval to collaborate with us on this very strategic and historic road project.
Our Government of Prosperity is committed to the completion of the project, hence my regular inspection visit to the site.
Super, super excited at the remarkable progress on the Angiama-Oporoma bridge across the River Nun.
Our Government of Prosperity is deeply committed to the completion of the Yenagoa-Oporoma-Ukubie road to link several riverine communities in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area to the State Capital.
My visit to the site today is to demonstrate that the Bayelsa Central Senatorial road is certainly not a political project but one that will open up the area to new economic opportunities.
