@JPeters77428787@JAO287@ZorikaZr@BBCNewsPR I think there's still a differences of the level of control. In China, if they want to cover something, you are not able to search even a single word about it, it will all be banned. If somebody spread it out, they will arrested you immediately. This is how a dictatorship runs.
@JAO287@JPeters77428787@ZorikaZr@BBCNewsPR Thanks for your covering, this is exactly what I wanted to explain. People in Australia and Canada have many other media not only BBC. But BBC properly the only hope for people in China, as all of their media is controlled by the government : ( This is sad.
@JPeters77428787@ZorikaZr@BBCNewsPR I don't think they keep silent at all. At least I had seen they reported about it before. I think the biggest difference is Chinese media won't report anything about this because the government want to keep people silent, people living there do need someone to report the truth.
@BBCNewsPR Hoping everyone in Shanghai will be safe. Glad to hear that Ed the brave man is being released. He's such a hero that keep going on reporting the truth for people living under dictatorship.
@ZorikaZr@BBCNewsPR It's pretty clear that the statement was made because their employee is being kidnapped and tortured with unreasonable excuse in China. It doesn't represent that BBC doesn't care what's happening in the rest of the world.
