Tyler Childers blew me away with Purgatory, Country Squire, and Long Violent History. Nothing he's released after that has moved my needle in the slightest.
@DLocke09 Thunder and Celtics fan here, but you are the best in the business. As a blind person who relies on radio commentary for sports, it is a pleasure to listen to you make the game of basketball come alive with such detail and passion. Thank you.
@julianspivey44 The Thunder, and not even saying that because I'm a fan. The story around them this season has been incredible. Projected to win 44 games by Vegas, and come out top of the West with 57 wins. Gotta love that.
@BeeADelores Agree on "Holdem," but not "Carriages." But, the fact that she got a real and talented country/roots performer like Rhiannon Giddens to play shows respect to the genre and promise for the album. Also, both are better than most of mainstream country radio.
@BeeADelores "Texas Hold'em" definitely sounded country-pop, but I didn't really hear country in "16 Carriages." I think we'll need to see what the rest of the album sounds like.
@KyleCoroneos No fan of the song, but I do think it's pretty clear the pot references are actually there to say that she has found something better than pot, not merely to be "edgy."
