It is an EXTREMELY BAD BREACH OF ETHICS that the @WSJ would publish a DELIBERATELY FALSE ARTICLE and fail to include an unequivocal denial beforehand by the Tesla board of directors!

Lots of buzz about China selling US treasury, and the single-say spike in U.S. yield is the fastest since 2000.
It makes perfect sense for China to sell treasury. If there is not trade, then the dollar from exporting wouldn’t have to be recycled back to US treasury. If there is no relationship, then no point to be nice any more. Take the glove off.
If the selling is causing other US interest rate to rise, for instance, mortgage rate, then Trump’s core constituents will be hit. He wouldn’t care as much about the top 10% rich American who owns 80-90% of US stocks.
The plunge in U.S. asset prices will rock Trump’s confidence at the negotiation table. Judging from the speed of the yield surge, there must be many sovereign governments who are also dumping treasury.
Trump doesn’t understand the macro equation: current account = capital account. When current account is even out, there is no need for capital to continue to flow in.
Elon, I have always thought that Tesla is a great company, a great enterprise that is enough to change human travel, but since you went to doge, everything seems to have changed. I don't know what the reason is, but I just hope you can make Tesla the same as before.@elonmusk
