(And obviously this is a super small instance. I was panicked and anxious, but no one threatened me, hurt me, or anything like that. Many face much worse on a daily basis. And I think we combat that by being a witness for our neighbors and our communities - it helps ❤️)

While pumping gas, a guy blantaly stopped his bike on the sidewalk to stare at me. At the same time, a guy in a truck drove up behind me, parked, and I suddenly felt surrounded.

Everyone always says to be aware of your surroundings, which is absolutely true. But being aware FOR the other people around you is really awesome. So, thank you, random truck guy. Keep doing that 👍🏼
