Japan Officially Surrenders - 75th Anniversary

Since 1982, August 14th has been National Navajo Code Talkers Day. They played a pivotal role in the success of major battles won by the U.S. during World War II and they didn't receive proper recognition for their efforts until their missions were declassified in 1968.
