Sports broadcasting giants Sky Sports have ended their coverage of Baller League from next season after opting not to renew their contract.
The competition, which has since its inception been backed by the likes of KSI, Gary Lineker and Ian Wright, sold out the O2 Arena for last season's final, which was won by KSI's Prime FC.
According to The Guardian, Sky are said to have been happy with viewing figures and social media interaction, but feel the partnership has come to a natural end
A former West Bromwich footballer has died aged just 25.
Quevin Castro, who grew up in Thetford in Norfolk where he attended the local secondary school, collapsed during a friendly match with third-tier Portuguese side Real Sport Clube. Desperate attempts were made to revive him with a defibrillator by a doctor with the top-flight team he was playing against, Estrela da Amadora, which is based in Amadora just north-west of Lisbon. He was rushed to hospital but pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The tragedy happened earlier today.

Manchester United began a campaign on Saturday with defeat for only the ninth time in 35 seasons of the modern era. But, with a visit to Hull City, it was the first time ever losing to newly promoted opposition on the opening weekend, Premier League or otherwise.
Preseason had gone well for Michael Carrick after landing the managerโs job on a permanent contract in May, but only 17 minutes of the season had elapsed when Hull defender Semi Ajayi converted a rebound after a corner. United dominated possession and had more attempts overall, but a second set-piece goal was their undoing towards the end of the first half. Nobel Mendy headed a Regan Slater free kick beyond Senne Lammens.

Welcome to the Liverpool ECHO's transfer news live blog.
Premier League football returned on Friday evening. Arsenal beat Coventry City 3-0 as the defending Premier League champions laid down an impressive marker. Andoni Iraola gets his Reds reign officially up and running with a trip to Newcastle on Sunday.
And the jury is still out on whether Liverpool's squad is ready for the upcoming campaign. Those at the club would appear to think not after a bid for Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh was lodged this week, only to be rejected.
That's the latest sign of fresh movement in the effort to replace Mohamed Salah on the right wing. There might also be a need for a new face in midfield, too, as Curtis Jones sealed his exit to Inter Milan on Friday night.
Cody Gakpo also continues to draw speculation regarding a potential move to Tottenham as rumours swirl. All that and more as the ECHO brings you all the latest transfer gossip out of Liverpool throughout the day.
