Why $HOODCITY?

We’re building the first animated series around the Robinhood ecosystem.

HOOD CITY isn’t meant to be a one-week content experiment. Episode 1 is only the beginning. We’re building an entire animated universe with recurring characters, storylines and episodes inspired by what actually happens across Robinhood, the memes, traders, builders, launches, drama and culture.

We want to bring something we think Robinhood is still missing: consistent, original, high-quality content that people actually want to watch, while documenting the early days of the ecosystem through animation.

The dev behind HOOD CITY is the same dev behind World Cup Anime on Solana, so this isn’t our first time building an animated crypto community.

We’re also thinking long term about the community. 25% of the total $HOODCITY supply is locked in a public onchain vesting contract. Airdrops and rewards are planned for the people who actually help build this with us : holders, community members, raiders, content contributors and the bagworkers who show up every day.

Robinhood is building its own onchain culture, and we want HOOD CITY to be the animated universe that grows alongside it, capturing the moments, the characters and the chaos as it happens.
