Last Sunday, our family grew by two more precious little souls. ❤️🐾Guizmo lost both of his eyes and came from a heartbreaking hoarding situation after his owner passed away. You would never know everything he’s been through because he doesn’t let his blindness define him. He confidently follows sounds, finds his way around the house, and has already learned his new surroundings without bumping into things. He is always hungry, absolutely loves cuddles, and has already started playing, hopping around the floor, and keeping up with his three furry brothers. Watching his confidence grow in just a few days has been incredible.

Chip is only one year old and is adjusting beautifully to his new life. He’s learning to walk confidently outside by following his new brothers and is becoming more comfortable every day. Yesterday was their first vet visit. Chip had his stitches removed and received a clean bill of health! The vet only recommended using an eye ointment because the hair around his face can irritate his eyes. In two weeks, he’ll have his first grooming appointment, and I can’t wait to see his adorable little face after his makeover.

Guizmo was diagnosed with an ear infection, so he’s taking medication and getting lots of extra love while he heals.

Jasper, Preston, Guizmo and Chip have started taking Zesty Paws Probiotics with Digestive Enzymes to support their digestive health, and we’re hoping they’ll also help with their tear staining too.

It’s amazing how quickly they have become part of our family. Every rescue deserves a second chance, and seeing them feel safe, loved, and happy makes it all worthwhile.

Welcome home, Guizmo and Chip. You are finally where you belong. You will never be alone again. ❤️🐾
