The director replied to my random IG story with this message that the producers are aware of the importance of Season 2, & requested that we give them some time!!!

This sounds more positive & he also seems more confident!

It is rare to find actors who can convincingly portray characters that are significantly different from their own age or life experiences.

#LiuDongQin has meticulously studied and comprehended his character in #TheOn1yOne.

His exceptional ability to portray the character of "Sheng Wang" with remarkable precision and believability through his spectrum of expressions, body language, and smile, which flawlessly capture the essence of a 17-year-old youth, has captivated numerous hearts.

Irrespective of whether he is being playful, shedding tears, or pouting, it is evident that his body language closely resembles that of a teenager.

Eric's proficiency in achieving this is a testament to his talent and unwavering dedication to his craft.

It appears that he was also inquired if he would be interested in portraying the character of Tian, considering he was the first to be chosen for the cast. However, he politely declined, expressing that he had already devoted significant effort in preparing himself to embody the role of "Sheng Wang." Consequently, the director embarked on a search for a taller actor to portray the character of "Jiang Tian."

(When they decided to cast Benjamin in the role of Jiang Tian, he was almost as tall as Eric but not quite, so they had him stand on a brick for the first scene when Wang meets Tian in the classroom to make him appear taller than Wang!!.)😂😂

In the final episode of "The Only One", the narrative takes a poignant turn as the thunderstorm becomes a metaphor for the emotional turmoil experienced by the characters. The sound of the storm symbolizes the inner struggles and heartaches they endure.

The development of the relationship between Sheng Wang and Jiang Tian has been a gradual and progressive journey, and it would be too hasty to rush their union within a short timeframe. The significance lies in the fact that Sheng Wang intentionally addresses Jiang Tian as "Ge," serving as a constant reminder to himself to maintain boundaries.
