I am loathe to day this, but i sympathize with the state here more than the individual. The state is trying to solve a problem that was not laid out in the engagement post.

The vehicle being registered is a Tesla. Meaning electric car.

Road maintenance is funded by the gas tax. Electric cars don't buy gas.

Electric cars also weigh more than gas powered cars.

This means that on average, an electric car causes more wear and tear to the roads, thus requiring them to be maintained more.

The high cost of registration is therefore attempting to compensate for the fact it drives on the public roads but does not pay a penny towards road maintenance.

As more and more BEV's come into use and disrupt the status quo, there is going to be a point where 'how will road maintenance be paid' will have to be resolved either through existing revenue or more likely a new form of taxation to replace the gas tax.

I cannot think of a better way of putting it.

Her mental state is not the question.

This individual can no longer be trusted in society for what they have done.

Where they go is immaterial at this point.

What matters is that the individual recieves the mental help needed and never is a part of society again.

Can you talk about the real problem of affordablily with today's youth.

I came out of school in 07. Lived through the recession. It took me nearly a decade to get back to where I should have been.

But today, even with all my blessings I am worse off than my parents were at their age.

I know that my story is not unique.

I see the generation behind me struggling even more.

We must aconolage and adress this crisis and have solutions for the upcoming generation. Solutions that show that individualism, hard work, and the American spirit still prevails.

Otherwise, they will continue to flock towards the socialists who promise an answer; all into a system guaranteed to make this suffering worse. When they speak of 'ceasing the means of production', the people do not know that means making them slaves of the state.

They just know that they may be able to get a loaf of bread and a roof over their head.

Without recognition of the problem, we will never come to free market solutions to correcting the course of our country before it is too late.

While I think the individual here suffers the blame for their negligence.

It does raise a question, why are we agreeing to surreder our rights just to fly if the agency responsible for insuring 'saftey' misses things like loaded magazines for international flights.

I remember the world prior to 9/11.

We should be spending our time finding a way to return to that.

Because the answer is far more complicated.

Last few years have been extremely dry, meaning less natural grass, which means that ranchers are buying more feed, feed price is going up, which means they are not expanding the size of their herds, which drives the price up as there is more demand but less supply.

Eventually these will equalize and either the weather/situation/price will change for the herd size to begin to expand and prices to stabilize.

The simple reality though wages have not followed inflation since the 70's.

After enough time the math catches up. We just felt it sooner than what was planned.

It can be done and is a simple fix.

Wiring GFCI's in series causes this problem where one can trip fault and take out multiple outlets.

I respectfully disagree.

What Roberts and Barret did was wrong.

They could have sided more with Kavanaugh and ruled not on the constitution but on the law. The EO runs foul of the INA.

They chose instead to rule on the constitution, siding with the three liberal judges and Roberts writing an opinion that declares all US citizens as 'subjects' to the the soil they were born on.

It's utterly ludicrous and ignores the entire point of the American revolution and subsequent history as a nation.

I can only hope in my lifetime this travesty of a decision will be overturned before the heart of this country I love is destroyed by it.
