@jonathanrego Kawhi did more or less the same thing to the Spurs. The injury layoff was highly exaggeted as an excuse to sit games in protest. There have been other such examples of “injury-protest” too.

That said, the Simmons situation is definitely the worst “benchmark” for this

2/2 My question is simply: Since there are no ‘franchises’ like most pro sports leagues, will partipating Indian players earn a professional salary for playing in the INBL? Or just the usual tournament appearance/award fee?

Can anyone answer?
