Good news Martin OโNeill is staying on as being reported but only if he has the same power as he had first time round as manager. Still so many other aspects need sortingโฆ recruitment? โฆletโs hope we hear of a clear plan from now on going forward ๐
Martin OโNeill earned this.
Clearly, Robbie Keane would have caused too much disharmony.
OโNeill now needs to select his own coaching team and be fully backed in this window.
No more low-balling clubs once the gaffer & recruitment team have identified the talent.
@celticCSL director Brian McLaughlin sat down with Peter Martin @PLZSoccer on the Celtic Paradox: the ยฃ77m question, the missing strategic plan, and why this gets won in the boardroom.
"You can have ยฃ77 million in the bank, but if you've not got a plan as to what you're going to do with that money, that's not a good place to be."
"Boards don't sack themselves. Boards are changed through governance."
The Paradox is a governance case built entirely from Celtic's own audited accounts. On the 12-point framework in the paper, Celtic scores 1.2 out of 5. The peer group averages 4.1. That gap costs nothing to close.
"Ignore us at your peril, but we're not going away."

Celtic has around nine million fans globally. The club's digital business is worth maybe ยฃ3m to ยฃ5m a year.
Clubs of our size make several times that. It costs nothing but a plan to fix.

The Celtic board has wasted little time in sowing division. From initiating bans to considering a hugely divisive figure as manager.
Until there is meaningful change in personnel and culture within the Celtic hierarchy then there will be no sustained unity across the club.
While humanitarian organisations warned of children being starved to death, hospitals were flattened and entire bloodlines wiped from existence, Robbie Keane chose to work just dozens of miles away from the devastation, in the country responsible for it, writes Kelly Given โ๏ธ
@yogijunior3 speaks what I feel here on @ACSOMPOD (which platforms a range of views every day). Even one single daily episode has more communication than a years worth of communication from the Celtic Board.
@PaulJohnDykes providing the platform as always.๐๐ฎ๐ช
After traveling 3,860 miles, I finally made my pilgrimage to Celtic Park. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my entire life. I am currently over the moon. ๐๐
...is the message from Celtic fans.
Robbie Keane is in the frame to be appointed as the next Celtic manager.
This would be another shameful act by a Celtic board who are in constant conflict with the club's supporters and the values of the club which are recognised worldwide.
This man had no interest in football, heโs a golf and horses fan, he only bought into Celtic as a business plan, hoping for a way into the EPL. He is an absentee landlord at war with the Celtic fans. The only way to modernise our club and move us forward is getting rid of him.
The Celtic Supporters clubs in Britain and Ireland should be releasing statements telling Dermot Desmond he has overstayed his welcome and Robbie keane is toxic and not welcome either
This isn't the Celtic I grew up with
An email has been circulated to all members this evening. We would appreciate if all supporters and fan organisations could respond as soon as possible.
Thank you.
