Coaches: “Playing off 2 feet” allows you time to make good decisions. But “playing off 1 foot,” as well, creates indecision on part of defenders. Watch how @AlabamaMBB@LabaronPhilon keeps all three of @umichbball Top 15 NBA Draft picks guessing. @coach_paint
NEWS: 2027 Top-25 overall recruit Davion Thompson is down to four schools and will announce his college commitment on June 10th, he told @Rivals. The 6-2 point guard goes in-depth on each of his finalists: https://t.co/l2xe2f20jz
I don’t think his problem is scoring. It’s can he effect the game in the defensive side of the floor. Is he going to be able to score consistently with out a reliable three ball to start his career? He is going to score a lot a high clip in his career
I am an “eye test” guy, but these statistics are interesting.
Dybantsa 25.5 pts. 51% FG
Durant 25.8 pts. 47% FG
Flagg 19.2 pts. 48% FG
Tatum 16.8 pts. 45% FG
Edwards 19.1 pts. 40% FG
@BYUMBB AJ had one of the two “30-10-10” triple-doubles in @Big12Conference history.
Incoming #Michigan 4⭐️ PF and McDonald’s All-American, Quinn Costello continues to look like one of the best shooters in the country via his IG.
Don’t see too many 6-foot-10 big men that can shoot like that.
Dusty May has coached some ELITE big men since arriving to #Michigan and has another in 6’10 skilled PF Quinn Costello.
- @247Sports’ No. 45 overall ranked prospect in the 2026 class
- State champion this season
- McDonald’s All-American 🍔
Source: It’s expected that Baylor forward Tounde Yessefou will withdraw his name from the NBA draft and enter the @TransferPortal
Yessefou averaged 17.9 points and 6 rebounds as a freshman at Baylor.
Significant Big 12 news.
2026 Michigan commit Brandon McCoy Jr. can continue to impress NBA scouts given the opportunity with his elite defensive instincts — very disruptive with his hands, length at 6-foot-5, a 6-foot-11 wingspan, plays with such high competitiveness, explosiveness, and athleticism.
A reminder of how underappreciated Zach Edey was pre-draft: a physical outlier in measurements and athletic testing, two-time National Player of the Year, a generational producer, now unsurprisingly a huge steal for Memphis. The public perception of his NBA outlook was way off.
Michigan beast big man Morez Johnson Jr. says he is letting his agents handle the intel gathering ahead of his stay-or-go decision.
“Dusty (May) been very supportive. Not pressured me to come back at all. He wants me to attack this thing two feet in, until otherwise.”
Michigan's Yaxel Lendeborg measured 6'8.75 barefoot and 241 pounds at the NBA Draft Combine, with a 7'3.25 wingspan and 9'0.5 standing reach.
No surprises after last year's Combine, but still outstanding dimensions for a player who slid seamlessly from the 3 to the 5 this season.
The Basketball Gods finally delivered!! Top 4 is where you want to be in this draft!! Bulls are going to get a stud and It’s going to be either Wilson or Peterson but my gut tells me Wilson and Boozer go 2 and 3 and Peterson falls to Bulls at 4 which is the big guard and shooter they need to compliment Giddys passing skills. But you can’t go wrong with any of the top 4 IMO! I’m just happy Bulls Nation has got something to be excited about!!!
@livvenjoyer He is 23 will be 24 by the time his rookie year starts. I don’t think age should make someone furious. I get saying wish we would have went this way. But he is a plug and play players for probably 8-10 years
I don’t understand this. Yaxel is the Protoss dribble pass shoot archetype. Most likely an instant rotation player. You already have a star, it would be a good move for the Mavs.
Rankings of how’d I feel about who the Mavs take with the 9th pick:
Ecstatic:
Keaton Wagler, Mikel Brown Jr.
Happy:
Labaron Philon Jr.
Satisfied:
Kingston Flemings, Darius Acuff Jr.
Annoyed, but there’s potential:
Brayden Burries
Furious:
Nate Ament, Yaxel Lendeborg
