Heading back to Florida...most of my stuff is in my suitcase but here's one I got at trade night last night.
I used to turn my nose up at his Prizm stuff, but it walked up to the table and...here we are.
Slick Leonard was truly one of the finest human beings I’ve ever known.
From the very first day I joined the Pacers, he sat me down and made sure I understood the history of this team—the blood, sweat, and pride that came before me. But more than anything, he looked me in the eye and told me something I’ve carried with me ever since: always leave it better than the person who came before you.
That wasn’t just advice to him. It was how he lived. He poured his heart into this franchise, this city, and every person who was lucky enough to cross his path. He made everyone around him better—players, coaches, fans, broadcasters. He left this game, this organization, and so many lives richer simply because he was in them.
Thank you, Slick. For the wisdom, the kindness, the laughter, and the standard you set. You didn’t just talk about leaving things better—you showed us how to do it every single day.
Rest easy, my friend. You left this world better than you found it.
@pacers forever!
Hopefully you all know the inspiration behind this card.
This how I be pointing at yall if you don't like and share this card I made.
Two versions because I can never just do base.
