@GraysonPierce4 Don’t know why he doesn’t get 1st round hype. Dude is a freak of nature and bought into a role and stayed at Arkansas when he could’ve left.
John Calipari says Trevon Brazile has all the “intangibles” the NBA is looking for.
“6’10”. Head on the rim above the square, blocking shots. Flying. How about being able to make a three‑point shot? All the intangibles that they’re looking for in the league. Being positionless. Being able to guard multiple positions. Being able to switch. I love coaching him, and I’m telling you: his ceiling—where he’s going to go—I’m going to say it again: 40‑inch jump. Flies up and down the court. He’s 6’10” with skill. Someone’s going to get a heck of a player.”

observation:
startup pitches have gotten funnier because every deck now contains one slide where the founder politely describes deleting someone’s job.
“workflow automation”
“agentic ops”
“human-in-the-loop reduction”
bro you built a tiny guillotine for the back office.
fine. now show me the payroll line.
With the absolute utmost respect:
The buy-in and self awareness are probably his most valuable skills
And one that is incredibly lacking in today’s game… all the way down to HS and MS basketball.
One of the revelations of the player podcast era is that you realize a whole lot of dudes in the NBA think this way pretty quickly and the ones who don’t are out of the league.
There are few dumber things in sports than offsides in soccer
Get back on D, son
(Seriously, imagine if a receiver couldn't run past a DB in football on a deep ball, or you couldn't get out on a fast break in hoops)
NBA Draft thought: Lot of people out there saying the lesson of Jalen Brunson is don't be afraid to draft small guards. That could be the wrong lesson. The lesson just might be that Brunson is extraordinary, a unicorn, one of the truly special athletes in the history of sports. There are far more examples of players (especially scoring point guards) who were in fact too small to succeed in the NBA, and that will be especially true in the Wemby Era.

Buying a home in 2026 as your 1st big investment in life is absolutely going to financial ruin a lot of people in the future
Put that money in the markets and pay rent
This isn’t your parents or grandparents housing market or economy
You’ll live a much happier and flexible life with more money than you’d have otherwise
"a star in your role"
Every aspiring college and NBA player needs to hear this.
Can only be a few top dog scorers on every high D I or NBA team, so if you wanna make it on the roster and if you wanna get PT, focus on being a star in other areas.
Hats off to Josh.
Insane to be a kings fan right now man. Seeing the Knicks culture/attitude/discipline etc. under coach Brown and Fox against him in the finals. It’s just an absolute gut punch man.
the future is just an endless churn of adapting your consumption habits to whatever venture-capital-backed seller is currently selling at a loss to capture market share
Americans are right to not trust AI, because large companies are laying off tens of thousands of knowledge workers WHILE putting up record profits
AND THEY’RE BEING HONEST ABOUT IT!
The social contract in America was always “if profits are growing so are your bonuses and headcount”
Today it’s reversed: “profits are SURGING because we’re lowering comp and cutting headcount”
Ignore all negative news. Chainlink had the biggest fee and is only growing, be happy with the price at which you can still buy now. I expect a very soon increase in the weekly reserve buybacks.
YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT CHAINLINK
it just takes a little longer than expected!

Trump is simply saying the quiet part out loud
Solving housing affordability requires asset owners to take a massive hit to their paper net worth
Unfortunately, majority of asset owners fall within the boomer category, who are by far also the biggest voter bloc
Our politicians would rather crush the American dream and hopes of family formation for the younger generation than destroy this paper wealth
Let that sink in
