First and foremost I am a dad and husband. I am also a teacher. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing eyes light up with understanding of new learning.
I LOVE getting a chance to watch my team at work. Even while testing Zack always takes the time to build both relationships and vocabulary! Great job Mr. Gallagher.

Great week of Field Day's at Sundown! Coach Carter and Coach Keilers did an awesome job of modeling for the kids, getting them moving and helping them to have a blast! Thanks Coaches for your hard work. @Sundown_e@Andr3wCart3r
Chapter 4 Casas also discusses being “life-fit”. While it is a difficult task for me, I do my best to refresh my mindset by setting aside time weekly to do something I truly enjoy, getting out into the open air, away from the congestion of my surroundings.@Sundown_e#SEculturize
Ch. 3 I gave a “GOTCHA” out recently to Coach Keilers. Her modeling of student expectations and behaviors for an activity in the gym helped to set up success. She saw more participation and fewer conduct issues than she had witnessed in recent days.@Sundown_e#SEculturize
Ch. 4 Casas writes about how our daily lives as educators are never free of a stream of challenges. Continuing with how this stream leaves the most positive & passionate teachers & leaders exhausted. What do you do to stay positive and refresh yourself? @Sundown_e#SEculturize
Ch. 3 Casas redefines a “Gotcha!” as a word to celebrate the success of others modeling excellence. Describe one Gotcha! you have given or received from a colleague recently. @Sundown_e#SEculturize
Wow! Look at all the responses to Week 2’s Fenway and Hattie trivia questions! Congratulations to our contest winners. Week 3 questions are up and waiting just for you here https://t.co/SymYqLctop #Sundownreadsasone#communityofreaders@Sundown_e
Ch. 2 Starting with a good morning to each student I see and through conversation, I champion for each student by helping them find their niche and leave SE with an understanding of who they are and a belief in their ability to reach their full potential. @Sundown_e#SEculturize
I love the excitement revolving around Fenway and Hattie. Check out these great bookmarks from second graders. Keep it up Sundown families!! #Sundownreadsasone#communityofreaders@Sundown_e
Ch. 2 Sigrist in "Eyes on Culture" pp. 25-26 states, "Being a champion for all students means just that: all students. Not just the ones who are likeable and want help but also the ones who might resist your efforts." How do you champion for all students? @Sundown_e#SEculturize
Ch 1. To inspire others back to greatness, we must ensure that every word and deed adds to our community culture in such a positive way that they inspire others to strive for more than status quo. We can't let good enough just be good enough. @Sundown_e#SEculturize
Welcome to my house. All working under one roof, but never seeing one another until the end of the day. Hey, I think I've done this with Christine before. 😁
Celebrating hard work and Springtime weather with burgers, hot dogs and friendship! Sundown's Academic Support Team is a great team to be a member of and I feel lucky to have fallen into it. #Springfever@Sundown_e
@Renee82184@MrSermoSupers Hey Renee... How about our boys defense this year! No Sermo, don't blame it on officiating. When your team can't score in the red zone, that is more to blame than the poor calls.
