Hoosac School is pleased to announce that Julie McBride has joined the Hoosac family as the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity Basketball program and Associate Director of Admission.

She graduated Syracuse University as the school’s all-time leader in points and assists.

Hoosac's varsity tennis program is already off to a blazing start, and the season is yet to even begin. Federico Spinetta '20 became champion of the USTA tournament Manchester By The Sea, defeating a Division 1 NCAA tennis player for Fordham University!

She graduated from Pomfret School and earned her BA in Philosophy from Georgetown and her MA TESOL from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. In 2018, she served as the US Dept. of State's inaugural English Language Fellow at Nelson Mandela University.

Emily Durst hails from Woodstock, CT and has taught ESL/EFL and academic writing at UCONN and abroad.
