I JUST WANT TO FIND A POD OF COVID CONSCIOUS PEOPLE TO LIVE NEAR SO WE CAN SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER. and if I found a SARS-conscious cutie along the way, bonus🥺
After yesterday’s huge setback I try to rise from the ashes like a phoenix.

I’m not giving up on my goal to become a #covidcautious counsellor so easily - for myself but also for this community here.

A real catastrophe is unfolding before our eyes in Gaza City, yet it feels as though no one cares. The world seems unaware of what is happening here, or perhaps it has simply stopped paying attention.
Today, I walked a long distance to the only drinking water station serving our area. When I arrived, I was shocked to find that it had completely stopped operating. The reason was not a technical failure, but the lack of fuel and engine oil needed to keep the desalination plant running.
Imagine a facility that provided clean water to more than 20,000 people living in displacement camps suddenly shutting down. This is happening as summer begins and the heat grows more intense with each passing day. Thousands of families are now left without access to safe drinking water.
And the tragedy does not end there. Dozens of bakeries have also stopped operating or drastically reduced production because they can no longer obtain the fuel and lubricants needed to run their equipment. Every day I stand in long lines under the scorching sun for two or three hours, and many times I return to my tent empty-handed, unable to find a single loaf of bread for my family.
The situation here is becoming more desperate with every passing day. No aid, no water, no bread, no homes, and increasingly it feels as though our lives have no value in the eyes of the world. What we are experiencing is no longer just a humanitarian crisisit is a disaster that is worsening by the hour.
Sometimes I feel as though I am writing these words into a void, as if our voices can no longer reach anyone. But the reality is that the situation here has spiraled completely out of control, and people are being left alone to face hunger, thirst, and unbearable heat.
Is anyone listening to us? Does anyone truly understand the scale of this catastrophe before it is too late?

One of my college professors used to say "anything worth doing is worth doing poorly." I didn't understand that for years because I didn't do anything poorly, I couldn't do anything poorly, I had to Do Everything Perfectly.
But brushing your teeth for 30 seconds is better than not brushing them at all when that 2 minutes seems exhausting. Doing ten minutes of yoga is better than 10 minutes of sitting when 30 minutes of cardio sounds impossible.
Changing my clothes is good when a whole shower is impossible. Standing on the porch for a few minutes is worth it after being in the house for three straight days because I don't have the energy to go anywhere.
Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly... because doing it poorly is better than not doing it.
Hi, thankfully, all of the people who sailed with GSF, myself included, were released this morning after extremely severe abuse and mistreatment by the Israelis, from the container ship prison boat to Ashdod port to Kitziot.
There is much more to report and say about our detainment, but I can say it's worse than ive experienced across my times in Israeli custody.
If they can do these heinous things to us, just imagine what they can and been documented doing to Palestinians---every day and without accountability.
GSF participants spent the whole day giving legal testimony, getting full physicals and blood and urine testing, and receiving medical care. More soon. Will be taking and reporting testimonies and sharing more of my experience.

Hands off the Flotilla.
I urge Mediterranean states to protect the civilian vessels that are trying to break Israel's genocidal siege on Gaza, and also do what the Global Sumud movement is trying to do:
-Break the siege.
- End complicity with Apartheid.
- Make justice happen.
We have just departed Italy and our fleet has expanded! The participants’ boats were filled with aid and ready to break the siege on Gaza.
It’s time to end the colonization of our seas. A safe, humanitarian corridor must be opened.
Follow our boats online with our tracker at https://t.co/dzTYcvfNMa.
@janiesaysyay Me too!
But there is one thing we can all do: Not participate in such research in the first place!
A group in my country is involved in this project and they were in charge of developing and testing essentially a CBT-App. So they were looking for patients as test subjects. 1/
This is SUCH a good point @marinaflares. As patients, it is time for ACTION - we must absolutely boycott BPS/CSS/FND garbage research and “medical care”. Starve them of patients + funding. Refuse to participate. Be “non compliant” as a protest. Enough is enough. #Care4Complex
Your birdbath is missing half its potential users. And it's because you're missing a rock.
Pollinators and smaller songbirds can't drink from a standard birdbath. The water is too deep, the edge is too slick, and they can't land safely.
Bees drown in them. Butterflies avoid them. Chickadees, finches, and warblers wait for a puddle instead.
A single large rock in the middle of the birdbath that breaks the water surface turns the whole thing into usable habitat.
Now bees can land on the dry top of the rock and drink from the edge. Butterflies can perch. Small birds have a safe resting spot.
It costs nothing. It takes thirty seconds. It doubles who uses the birdbath overnight.
The things dying of thirst in your yard right now are the ones your birdbath was never built to help.
Here is some context for this action because I don't think people are angry enough. This is not limited to France. It's just that the meeting was held in France and the French patients were awesome enough to do this.
The project itself is (was) and EU project under 1/
NON-VIOLENT PROTEST DURING A CONFERENCE ON #LongCovid.
We are people living with Long Covid and we are sick.
We want real care, not cognitive behavioral therapy or meditation.
We need medications for our lungs, hearts, stomachs, immune systems, brains damaged by #Covid.
ATTENTION ALL CC MUSIC FANS! 😷🎤i’m organizing a covid-safe mask-required show in paris on june 25th, and you can join in with the online option that will feature high-quality footage of my live set broadcast later on! here’s last year event, and tickets are below!

great action in france, where long covid activists interrupted a long covid conference held by profs ranque and lemogne, who monopolize the field and funding for long covid research in france by framing it as psychosomatic and advocating for meditation as a treatment
why is this milk dud camping out on my timeline & sulking for days? and speaking to me? is it because he's never been told to stfu?
