This was one of the signs at the “Re-open Illinois” event today. She assured those that she was not a Nazi, and stated, “I have Jewish friends.” Thank you for representing yourself and your “movement” for what it is.
Regarding the anti-Semitic sign held by a protester outside the statehouse: It was disgusting. It was vile. People have a right to protest and the right to carry an anti-DeWine sign, but that was wrong.
On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we commemorate Elie Wiesel who survived the #Holocaust and devoted his life to preserving the memory of the Shoah and all those who perished.
