Cody's not feeling well so I took both kids to the crowded grocery store so he could nap. We get back in the car and Leah says, "yay, daddy!"

It should be illegal for companies to destroy useable merchandise to make room for more goods in the store. It should be illegal for stores to dump shelf stable food rather than donating them to shelters or food banks.
So many people have offered to bring meals this week while Cody is sick and I'm taking care of the kids by myself. I've had to turn multiple people down because we just can't eat it all. THAT is what it's like to be part of a good church.
Gave my three month old son a haircut today. Took probably an inch off the top. AN INCH!!! Who told this child he was allowed to need a full on haircut like he's grown??
This is more than biblical illiteracy. This is regular illiteracy.
This is not to mock or make fun. This is to show where we are right now. This is the problem.

For all the problems facing the SBC, this week has brought out some of the best in So. Baptists. We're thankful for all the good men & women who have reached out & said, "We may not be able to do much, but we're going to do it with all our might." That's how the SBC will thrive.
