We are a group of villages taking effective action on climate change. Our aims are to reduce carbon and increase biodiversity in Derbyshire’s Hope Valley.
By 2050 we will need >2x as much electricity in #HopeValley. HVCA's study found that domestic electricity base load will increase from 23 to 60 GWh. Non-domestic demand will incr by similar amount. Renewable energy will be key to meeting this demand & reducing carbon emissions.
