Pall Mall, TN is the home of Sgt. Alvin C. York State Park. You can tour the home that was given to him by the state of TN after WWI. It's a must see for the person who enjoys history.
Visited Biltmore Estate to enjoy some of the spring blooms. The gardens & trails around the estate change with the seasons. While the house is the main attraction, the gardens & trails are pleasant, especially if you get there early in the cool mornings & before it gets busy.
Historic Leach Cemetery in Rocky Top TN is where you will find what is called the miners circle. It is where many of the miners are buried that were killed in the Fraterville Mining accident.
In the little town of Rocky Top TN, formerly known as Coal Creek, you will find a little museum of interest. It tells the story of miners that lived, worked and died in. Coal Creek, Fraterville, and Briceville TN. There is a lot of history to learn in that little museum.
Visited Norris Dam State Park today. Great place for walking dogs, hiking, and picnics There are cabins, a camping area, a museum of the history of the area and of course the dam which is part of the TVA system.
The Foothills Parkway is a pleasant drive. Along the drive you can stop at the Look Rock Tower Trail. It's a paved trail up to the tower and the view is beautiful of the Smoky Mountains on one side, the valley on the other side to the start of the Cumberland Mountains.
We checked out the light displays at the Aspire park in Clinton Tennessee. There are plenty of light displays and opportunities to take pictures with family and friends. And if you desire to try The Pearl Restaurant for dinner, reservations are required.

Visited Biltmore Estate today and enjoyed the beautiful decorations and the conservatory with it lovely Orchids and other flowers to see. George Vanderbilt had a dream for this house. I wonder what he would think of the estate today and all the changes.
