What a fantastic festive season #hopegardensindia is having, Christmas parties, meals for families, excellent school reports and our appeal raised £17,000 yes £17,000! This means we can fund all our after school clubs in 2023! What a positive news as we head into 2023 thank you.

What a colourful celebration Pongal is at #hopegardensindia. Pongal is celebrated by Tamils & is similar to Harvest Festival focusing on giving thanks for cattle & agriculture. Our "pongal" dish of rice, milk & sugar was dedicated, shared amongst friends & offered to the cattle.

We don't just celebrate harvest once at year at Hope Gardens as we have coconut harvests every 60 days, three paddyfield harvests a year and our vegetable garden constantly harvesting! Mrs Soundaram's just picked some spinach - her green fingers are very much appreciated.
