HOPE Group was established to help support families through their time in special care. Run by families who have been through the special care experience.
Our twins have arrived!
The birth didn’t go to plan, you can read about it here: (https://t.co/mcg45vGtfG)
We’re feeling incredibly grateful to the NHS nurses & doctors.
@AnnaMcNuff & I would like to welcome you to..
Rocky McDonald (5lb 6oz)
And Jupiter McNuff (5lb 10oz) 🥰
It’s been well over a year since I was last able to visit any of the families on #NICU@gloshospitals but #VolunteerTraining complete #PPE organised looks like @HopeGrh can return to support families soon.
On #WorldPrematurityDay2020 we're celebrating the work of our amazing Neonatal Unit, thanking @HopeGrh for supporting families and giving a shout out to @SHED191018 who provide fantastic support for dads. Oh, and all week, @GlosCathedral is lit up purple!
At @gloshospitals whilst we can’t celebrate #VolunteersWeek2020 as we would usually we’re displaying some of their fantastic stories in our Atrium GRH and Pillars CGH. THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS 🌈
Do you feel like you could just do with a break? How about joining some other #HOPEmums for a group chat on Friday the 12th June. Put in in the diary, half an hour for some #Metime. Make a cuppa, or pour a glass of wine and we will open up the HOPE cafe/coffee shop/wine bar
OMG what a wonderful turnout for the walk on Prematurity Day for Glos NICU, over 250 people attended. So lovely seeing all our ex families and their beautiful babies. ❤️😃
