@drantbradley This may reflect how folks are socialized to understand themselves in relation to others, particularly those who are unlike them. If men are fleeing, that may reflect deeply embedded beliefs about women — that aren’t great. Add cultural & class intersections on top of that.

@DrRChadwick The gap = the voice/perspective that was left out + the scholars that did the exclusion. I’m not sick & tired of the gap. I’m sick & tired of the contexts & institutions that continue to maintain the gap, esp. when it pertains to individuals of African descent.
