“the principal’s role is to lead the school’s teachers in a process of learning to improve their teaching, while learning alongside them about what works and what doesn’t.”
― Michael Fullan

Exhausted, yes. But underneath the end-of-term burnout is the quiet thrill of a new beginning.
September is coming—with fresh energy, fresh goals, and the chance to begin again.

At school people often comment on my ‘energy’. But I’m on autopilot. Very little surprises me. I know my values. My reactions r in line with values. There’s little to think about.

Back home from my second visit to @HopefieldsEd school.
The provision they offer for students who have previously struggled to access education due to SEMH reasons, is truly remarkable.
The climate for learning that Emily and the team have built is amazing. The starting point of the journey is even more admirable.
Too many superlatives, but if you ever get the chance, I'd recommend a visit!
Thanks to all staff and students!
People who impress me most make decisions built on their strong values. Strong values create a lot of certainty. I’ve known a lot of people be rudderless. Decisions made in line with fashion. Virtue signallers. They display a kind of groupthink self assurance too.
Lots of discussion on this, some of it questionable.
Never mind approaches and ideologies. The young man deserves praise for leading his group in fine fashion and getting results. He's a credit to his school and school community.
Congratulations, @Mr_Raichura.
