By the way for those of you who are not aware, or maybe you are aware but you have forgotten, I just want to remind you:
When the terrorists went to Ogbomosho few days ago and kidnapped 45 people, they kidnapped 2 year old kids.
Read that again:
2 year olds were kidnapped.
2 year old little kids are currently in the den of terrorists, as I type this.
Just incase we have forgotten as a country. I want to remind you all again.
Cancer is such a cruel and heartbreaking disease 💔 It affects not just the person fighting it, but also their family, friends, and everyone around them. So many beautiful lives have been lost, and so many people are still battling silently every day. It’s painful seeing how much suffering it brings, yet so many continue to fight with incredible strength and courage. Prayers for everyone fighting cancer, everyone who survived it, and every family grieving a loved one lost to it. 🙏💔
Now Alex Ekubo
Cancer is one of the most painful and unpredictable diseases. You can do everything right..eat healthy, exercise, avoid smoking, and live well and still hear a diagnosis nobody ever wants. What is even more unsettling is that some of the people I have seen with cancer are those who exercise regularly, eat healthy, and have no prior medical history. Even people who have never smoked a day in their life can still be diagnosed with lung cancer. It’s heartbreaking and honestly humbling.
Anybody that beats you to a pulp and deliberately targets your face hates you deeply! “That face wey you dey use do fine girl, I go spoil am.” That is the mentality behind violently hitting women in the face. The intention is not just to hurt you physically. It is to damage your confidence, your dignity, your appearance, your sense of self.
It is the same mindset behind acid attacks and facial disfigurement. If they can spoil your face, make you hide, make you feel undesirable, make you withdraw from the world, then they’ve won over you!
Even if the scars are not permanent, you still spend time nursing wounds, hiding bruises, avoiding mirrors, avoiding people. That kind of violence is deeply hateful.
And honestly, I don’t think enough Nigerian women fully grasp how serious that level of violence is. Someone who can repeatedly brutalize your face is not “just angry.” That person has deep contempt for you. That person is dangerous.

Let’s pray:
Heavenly Father, as we rise at the start of a new day and a new week, I pray for Your financial blessings on my family, my friends, and anyone struggling due to the uncertain economic times we’re living in. Father, bless those in need today. Bless them supernaturally, as only You can. Give them assurance that You will be with them through these challenging days. Let them know You hear their prayers and will turn things around for their good. Remind them that when things seem like they won’t get better, You show up and pour out Your blessings. Bless all Your people financially and place hope in their hearts today as the Holy Spirit leads. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

3 days ago, the Nigerian Army jumped a fence to shoot and kill an innocent Nigerian youth in his room, a serving NYSC youth.
They moped his blood, picked up his brain and called it accidental discharge.
Yesterday, a Nigerian policeman shot and killed a restrained youth who said he was sent to pick up a package. He begged for his life. His only request was justice. All he wanted was justice, but he was murdered by those who should protect and give him justice.
I am so ashamed and infuriated. The Nigerian youths have faced too much in this country. They have been through so much💔.
When would enough be enough?
I checked the updated japa prices, o boy I don't think an average Nigerian can afford to relocate even if he saves for the next 4 years. The Japa wave is coming to an end, get your PVC and let's fix the country.💔💔
Same police man that asked me why my yansh was shaking even as I wore trousers, and he even had to touch my yansh also. There was a bit of hold-up a few years ago in 2023.
I had to hop on a bike when him and his squad stopped the bike. He asked me to come down. He, in particular, hit me with a gun and dragged the bike man down, and asked me to enter their shuttle bus. As I was approaching the shuttle bus, he hit me again with his gun and said why was my yansh shaking. I couldn’t say anything. He hit me again with the same gun and said I should thank God it’s daytime, if not he would have wasted me.
He said I must pay 50k. I asked for which crime. He said he will take me to the police station and they will deal with me if I don’t pay. I said okay, I prefer to go to the station. One boy in the bus said if I have money I should pay, if not they might rape me on the way. He asked another guy in mufti to follow me to a POS and withdraw, so I withdrew 50k and gave them.
I will attach how I was dressed that day. It wasn’t even indecent. I cried and cried and told him Earth will deal with him. Most of these police are brutal. He was so bold in telling me I should thank God it was in a day time if not… #endpolicebrutality
I can’t focus. That video hasn’t left my mind all day.
That boy saw death coming and kept begging, pleading with someone who is meant to protect him to spare his life.
The officer wasn’t even in uniform. He picked up a rifle and still went through with it. There were moments to stop (the rifle didn't work after multiple trials), to rethink, to choose differently… but he didn’t.
It’s beyond cruel. Insanity!
Terrible. Terrible people.
