The MOU will provide training and placement of wards, ex wards, and probationers in the HOPE Programme
to ensure they are successfully integrated into society.
With the help of the NCB foundation the Hope Programme was able to donate face masks for the Jamaica Society for the Blind. We are elated that we had the opportunity to do so and we will continue to do the good work!
The #HOPE Feature of this week goes to Miss Aliyah Addington an industrious 18 year old who founded Grateful Giving JA, a charity drive in which she collects donations and gives back to those in need. HOPE supported her with a donation of masks on her recent drive!
The HOPE Programme through the support of the HOPE Opportunity Charity Limited (HOC.L) has partnered with the Jamaica Youth Business Trust (JAYBT) to provide training in Entrepreneurship/Business activities, for beneficiaries of HOCL who are interested in Entrepreneurial events.
Here are a few members of the HOPE Programme’s first cohort of Windshield Wipers. These men received training and mentorship and were exposed to sessions on civics, conflict management, family life management and career development.
Armed with the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE), our HOPE interns were present at the Norman Manley International Airport to assist with the electronic monitoring of Jamaicans returning to the island who are been self-quarantined at home.

We are happy to have partnered with the HOPE programme to provide locally produced masks to our friends at Deaf Sports Jamaica.

In partnership with the HOPE Programme, we donated 100 masks to the Jamaica Society for the Blind, while 1,000 masks went to Deaf Sports Jamaica.
At least two other special needs communities are set to benefit.

Yesterday June 4, 2020 The HOPE team donated HOPE face masks to the Maxfield Park Children’s Home in St Andrew, received by Captain Jonathan Wemyss-Gorman and Debbie Dunn-Furguson caretaker of the home.
