Almost all of that went to vet bills for at least 81 different dogs (the number of dogs we treated in 2024… or at least all the dogs I could easily recall off the top of my head):

There’s a special kind of relationship between dogs with PTSD, and people with PTSD.
Perhaps it’s due to shared experience; perhaps it’s from a mutual understanding of consent.
Regardless: nothing heals the inner child more than training dogs without the use of fear or violence
Taps has a personality flaw:
He gently taps you when he wants pets. If you pet him while sitting down, sometimes he’ll even “pet” you back, stroking your head. Which can look like smacking you in the face, but it’s endearing nonetheless.
