The key message from ETF flows last week: this was not a full risk-on week, but a week of layered capital allocation as macro conditions improved.
$BTC ETFs recorded $623M in net inflows for the week, marking 6 straight weeks of inflows. That tells us institutional positioning in Bitcoin remains intact. But the recent two-day outflow streak also matters. With BTC pushing back toward the $80K area, some fast money appears to be taking profit, even as longer-term allocation capital stays in place.
$ETH ETFs brought in $70.49M last week, led by BlackRock’s ETHA with $100M in net inflows. That looks like a recovery on the surface, but the structure matters: it feels more like concentrated buying into a top-tier product than broad-based demand across the full ETH ETF complex. In other words, ETH is stabilizing, but the recovery is still not as convincing as BTC’s.
The more interesting shift came from $SOL and $XRP.
Last week, spot SOL ETFs saw $39.23M in net inflows, while spot XRP ETFs added $34.21M. That suggests that as macro pressure eased and risk appetite improved, capital was not just rotating back into Bitcoin, but also starting to reach for higher-beta exposure.
So the real takeaway is not simply who got the most inflows. It is this: BTC remains the core allocation, ETH is in repair mode, and SOL/XRP are starting to capture tactical beta flows.
What matters next is whether this layered rotation continues.
If BTC flows keep cooling while SOL and XRP continue to attract capital, the market may be rotating further out the risk curve. But if BTC re-accelerates and ETH flows broaden beyond ETHA alone, then this week may look more like a healthy sentiment reset than a true style shift. Which scenario do you think plays out?

🚨SoSoValue Flash: Countdown to US-Iran Deal, AI Hardware Enters Peak Euphoria
💥 Core Catalyst: Truce Extensions & Tehran Shadows
The U.S. and Iran are nearing a 14-point MOU, with Washington expecting Tehran’s reply within 48 hours. Trump anticipates a signed deal within the week. While the "Tehran Shadows" linger, the narrative has shifted decisively from military escalation to structural diplomacy.
🔍 Key Logic Shifts:
1️⃣ Geopolitics: Rising peace odds for the 14-point MOU are driving oil prices lower while broadening market risk appetite. Investors are shrugging off past tensions, pivoting toward a reflationary "peace trade."
2️⃣ Macro Policy: April ADP private payrolls (109K vs 70K expected) confirm a steady labor market. This gives the Fed continued cover to hold rates steady, as the "resilient economy" narrative outweighs near-term cut hopes.
3️⃣ AI Hardware: Hardware euphoria has reached a fever pitch. Samsung crossing the $1T market cap and AMD’s 18.6% post-earnings surge reinforce that Memory and CPUs are the absolute core of the current momentum trade, potentially running to valuation extremes.
📊 Trade Setup (SoDEX Assets to Watch):
Core: $USTECH-100 | $CL (Crude) | $XAUT | $BTC
MAG7: $NVDA | $AMZN | $GOOGL | $META | $MSFT | $TSLA | $AAPL
AI Hardware: $SNDK | $MU | $AMD | $INTC
SoSoValue Flash: Hormuz Returns to the Table, AI Hardware Maps "Exponential" TAM
💥 Core Catalyst: Truce Extensions & Tehran ShadowsTrump has paused the "Freedom Plan" escort in favor of diplomacy, as both sides review a 14-point US proposal. While the "Tehran Shadows" persist, the pivot back to the negotiation table has temporarily capped the immediate escalation premium, returning the market to a "talk-and-stall" regime.
🔍 Key Logic Shifts:
1️⃣ Geopolitics: The shift from force to 14-point negotiations confirms that a military fix for Hormuz remains a last resort. Markets are largely shrugging off the diplomatic back-and-forth, treating it as a structural but contained overhang.
2️⃣ Macro Policy: April ISM Manufacturing Prices surged (+25.6 pts over 3 months), signaling massive cost-push inflation. With Japan intervening for three straight days, the June BOJ hike risk is adding a fresh layer of volatility to global carry trades.
3️⃣ Earnings Surge: AMD raised its 2030 CPU TAM to $120B, doubling the CAGR guide to 35%. This reinforces the AI hardware bull case and suggests the cycle is moving from "recovery" toward "euphoria" as pricing power remains robust.
📊 Trade Setup (SoDEX Assets to Watch):
Core: $USTECH-100 | $CL (Crude) | $XAUT | $BTC
MAG7: $NVDA | $AMZN | $GOOGL | $META | $MSFT | $TSLA | $AAPL
AI Hardware: $SNDK | $MU | $AMD | $INTC

🚨SoSoValue Flash: Yields and Oil Hammer Markets, Nasdaq Clings to AI Defense
💥 Core Catalyst: Yield Spike & The $112 Oil WallTrump’s signal for a long-term Hormuz blockade ignited a massive ~8% surge in Brent crude to $112.5. Combined with a hawkish tilt in FOMC dissents, Treasury yields spiked (10Y at 4.42%), signaling a painful recalibration as markets price in "re-inflation" and delayed rate cuts.
🔍 Key Logic Shifts:
1️⃣ Macro & Rates: Yields surged 8-10bps across the curve as the market digested the Fed’s hawkish bench. Ahead of the Warsh transition, liquidity is being re-priced, pushing the Dollar Index (DXY) toward the 98.96 level.
2️⃣ Energy & Stagflation: Brent at $112.49 cements stagflation as a primary macro risk. The structural energy war is overriding short-term geopolitical noise, creating a headwind for Gold (LBMA -1.06%) as real yields climb.
3️⃣ Tech Resilience: The Nasdaq was the lone outlier (+0.04%), proving that investors still view AI-centric Big Tech as a "growth sanctuary." Strong cloud data from recent earnings is currently acting as a firewall against valuation compression from higher rates.
📊 Trade Setup (SoDEX Assets to Watch):
Core: $USTECH-100 | $CL (Crude) | $XAUT | $BTC
MAG7 & AI: $NVDA | $GOOGL | $MSFT | $AMZN
AI Hardware: $MU | $AMD | $INTC | $SNDK
🚨SoSoValue Flash: Talks Collapse & Strait Blockade, Trump Deploys "Maximum Pressure" 2.0
💥 Core Catalyst: Negotiations Stall, Blockade Takes EffectThe 21-hour Islamabad talks ended with no agreement, leading both delegations to withdraw. Trump responded by ordering an immediate naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, effective April 13 at 10 AM ET. CENTCOM will also begin mine-clearing operations. Oil prices have surged back above $100.
🔍 Key Logic Shifts:
1️⃣ The Leverage War: Negotiations failed over revenue sharing and a 20-year ban on uranium enrichment. Trump’s blockade strategy is designed to intercept Iranian oil smuggling and dismantle Tehran’s "toll booth" over the Strait, effectively stripping Iran of its primary economic leverage.
2️⃣ Inflation’s Final Boss: March CPI data confirms that inflation is largely under control, except for the energy component. The Fed is holding steady, Refusing to consider rate cuts until the conflict reaches a resolution—keeping the market in a high-rate chokehold.
3️⃣ Market Fatigue: While Trump is sticking to his "Maximum Pressure" playbook, the market is growing weary of the constant uncertainty. Investors are rotating away from geopolitical noise toward "fundamentally clean" AI stocks as earnings season begins.
📊 Trade Setup (SoDEX Assets to Watch):
Core Watchlist: $USTECH-100 | $XAUT | $BTC
Safe Harbors: MAG7 and AI Hardware (MU, AMD, etc.) are favored for their earnings resilience.
Tactical Move: Monitor the intensity of the blockade starting at 10 AM ET. If the military enforcement leads to direct kinetic engagement, expect a deeper shift into Risk-Off mode.
