Double Bottoms everywhere ๐๐๐๐The next decade-long bull market melt-up has begun. Blow off top doesn't even begin to describe what is going to happen. Bulls will be billionaires, and Bears will be bygones of a different era of investing.
@davidcunter When you are immortal like David these day to day moves have no real bearing on the long term as David's subscriber count will steadily rise to infinity.
@davidcunter Only persons with 136 years of experience on wall street can forecast the financial markets, lottery numbers and the weather with such accuracy.
@the_lone_ape@jedimarkus77 Of course, it seems that many are looking for a 50% decline like 38, 74, 02, 08 which are very rare compared to 20-25% declines which we've had many. Seems like having 2 50% declines within a decade distorted people's view of how often large declines happen.
@DannyDayan5@iv_technicals Whenever rates go high they only hang there temporarily before reversing, rates need to actually stay high or the carousel continues.
@the_lone_ape@jedimarkus77 We had a 20% draw down. Even in 2000 and 2008 when the first 20% drop happened the market recovered. 1987 and Covid crashes were the only time we didn't bounce after a 20% decline.
@dampedspring He said to buy twice so he wanted people to buy then? Not sure there are too many magic buy announcements coming since most of the tariff walk back happened. Or I'm just misunderstanding which is most likely
@davidcunter Spreading the good word of the melt up and incoming deflationary bust by any means necessary. David will not rest until everyone has read the newsletter, subscribers or not.
$AAOI has been trading in a channel the entire way down, longer term support at $6-7 range. Outside its daily upper boll which it has respected this entire time, expecting a snap back down.
@dampedspring Maybe for Bessent but not for Trump. The general public doesn't know or care all that much about the 10yr but they are more in tune with stock prices.
It was always going to be a difficult sell to the public to have stocks lower while rates lower.
@MarketObserver8 The fact that China dropped their tariffs from 120% to 10% when the US went from 145% to 35ish% within a month shows that the screws weren't screwed. After the disrespect showed to China, it was weak of them to fold this quickly despite allegedly holding all the cards.
