For me… the weight lifted on its own. I hesitated to credit the gym time, time with friends, dieting, nature etc. Depression let go of me. I didn’t let go of it.
If you’re experiencing depression right now, I just want to say, it’s not always because you aren’t doing enough to fight against it. Sometimes, persevering through depression is not “work based”. No matter what you DO, it can still cage it.
The dating commitments I fully trust is the ones signed on dotted lines because you can’t just walk about without paying the price of breaching the contract.
