once you as a man hit 12-15% body fat for the first time you realise every single fitness influencer was right about one thing:
being lean makes everything easier.
your joints feel better. your cardio improves without trying. you sleep better. clothes fit you well. your face looks different. people treat you way different.
the difference between 25% body fat and 12% body fat isn't just aesthetics.
it's literally unlocking a different operating system for your body.
You were superb at what you were doing 3 years back, my honest opinion as a friend.
Doesnโt mean , the mathematics & analysis you present on different data now is not good , every thing has its own charm.
Zero evidence of one scoop of whey protein causing , gastric problem.
1) was it low quality whey ?
2) amino spiked whey ?
3) any masala , chat items consumed along with ?
Moderate pure whey is one of the best dieatary supplements ..
Would like to know detailed advice from the doctors ? And evidence ?
Have seen people consume it for Years and years and yet absolutely fit.
I was urgently rushed to a hospital at 3 AM today because all of a sudden, I started feeling chest burning, shivers, jaw twitching, sweating, and high blood pressure.
After 17 hours, 8 tests, and multiple syringes, the reason has come out - earlier that evening, I had consumed 2 spoons of peanut butter, 1 bowl of fried peas, and 1 scoop of whey protein.
Due to that, there were digestive issues and gastric formation. By 2 AM, it reached my chest area, and it was so severe that it started creating such symptoms.
Doctors have advised me to stop eating ghee, oil, masalas, protein powders, and other foods that create gas. The most shocking part was the whey protein because its marketing revolves around being risk-free.
Anyways, I feel much better and fine now. My blood pressure is very low, but I can survive tonight. Tomorrow, I pledge to never eat outside and never fall for marketing hypes.
I learnt the lesson hard way - Itโs better to stay deficient than suffer serious long term consequences. Iโll try to fulfil from whole foods and if I fail, I prefer being deficient.
H-1B would cost around Rs. 1 crore henceforth, and we donโt even know who will all get it.
Two decades ago, being sent onsite was a demand made by potential employees even during interviews.
The marriage market was extremely favourable to NRIs compared with resident Indians.
This is how life works. Everything has a beginning and an end. It is not wise to extrapolate todayโs situation forever.
Iโm confident that talented people will still find opportunities, even in India itself.
Iโm highlighting this issue just to convey that nothing lasts forever. Absolutely nothing.
Fanta in London costs roughly 4x that in India.
Those using PPP model use such assumptions to prove the cheaper cost of living in India.
They even calibrate the per capita GDP and other metrics on PPP basis.
Now, the problem with PPP is that it doesn't account for the quality of the product.
Fanta in India contains artificial dye while that in London relies more on real fruit juice concentrates (like pumpkin and carrot for color), which obviously makes it costly, but healthier.
So, while, you are buying Fanta cheaper in India, you are also buying a different (and inferior) product, which is not price comparable - with Fanta in London.
Health influencers driven peptides market and promos are the Sadhguru of the pseudoscience and fringe science world. Impressive sounding dangerous bullshit.
If evidence requires a party and not peer review, it's probably not really evidence. It's just a reason to party.
this is insane. i genuinely don't understand why ambitious people aren't shown this lecture before their careers start consuming their entire lives.
clayton christensen spent his career studying why successful companies collapse. in his final class, he asked students to apply the theory to themselves: if you keep allocating your time the same way, what life are you actually building?
he had already seen the answer in his own harvard mba class. everyone looked successful at the fifth reunion; by the 10th, 15th, 20th, and 25th, many were unhappy, divorced, and living far from their children.
work shows you the score immediately. close a sale, ship a product, finish a presentation, earn a promotion, get paid.
an hour with your child may produce nothing you can measure today; it may take 20 years to understand what that hour built. so the next free hour goes back to work, one rational decision at a time.
this is how people build lives they never planned: through hundreds of right decisions that lead in the wrong direction, day after day.
money, titles, and headcount are easy to count. christensen believed a life should be measured by the people who became better because you were there.
he died in 2020.
one question remains: if someone saw only where your time, energy, and attention went this year, what would they think actually mattered to you?
the full 19-minute lecture is in the video below.
I was watching The Last Samurai today and it made me realize how fascinating a country Japan is and how resilient and determined it is as a society.
Till 1868 they were a feudal, agrarian, peasant driven society largely isolated from the world.
In 1868, an event called Meiji Restoration happened, where the entire country came under the imperial throne under Emperor Meiji.
This led to the westernization of Japan.
40 years later, in 1905, they humiliated a legit western power Russia in battle and outmatched them strategically and technologically.
Battle of Tsushima was so one sided and it annihilated the Russians so badly, it makes the 2026 FIFA World Cup final look competitive.
In 1914, they sided with the Allies and defeated Germany in battle in the Far East.
By 1941, they had out navied England and almost Out Navied the USA and, a fact which was unthinkable in the 20s and 30s and entered the World War against them.
They over ran most of South East Asia and landed some really bloody blows to the USA, a country that was almost 50 times bigger.
By 1945, the entire country was literally burnt to the ground. Most of their cities were ash and cinders. Most of their youth, dead in far off islands.
That country was actually reduced to nothing.
Yet in the next 30 years, they became one of the largest economies in the world.
They don't have oil. They don't have any valuable natural resources. They are isolated and prone to natural disasters.
If the placement of countries was a deck of cards, Japan has been dealt with probably the worst hand of all.
Yet, thru sheer power of their will and determination, they find a way to progress and dominate.

โConsumers will NOT BE CHARGED anything for making UPI payments.
For 6 years, a line in Indian law said nobody could charge you for a UPI payment.
On Thursday the Lok Sabha voted to delete that line.
There was no discussion. It went through on a voice vote while the House was in protest over something else.
tupac recorded 501 songs, but only 2 became top ten hits.
van gogh painted 2,100 paintings and only sold 1 while he was alive and it was 6 months before he died.
sabrina carpenter released 67 songs and five albums over the course of 10 years before she had her big hit "espresso."
glen powell spent 19 years trying to become an actor before "top gun: maverick" made him a star. 19 solid years.
and connor story spent 8 years waiting tables and he was ready to quit acting for good. and the day he almost got fired, he got an email and he found out that he got the lead actor role in "heated rivalry," the biggest acquired hbo show in history.
and you are giving up because you tried twice? or maybe 10 times?
look, a winner is just a loser that tried one more time and that's just it
winners lose more than losers even try.
Bankipur bypoll mein BJP ke haar ke major reasons hain:
1)Candidate change ki galti (Weak candidate)
2) Nitish Kumar factor ki kami
3) PK ka focused aur micro-level campaign
4)Vote bank shift
5)Anti-incumbency aur local gussa
6) RJD vote split

I can tell you one thing about HYROX. If you think its a new craze and people are doing it just to feel included, you are absolutely delusional.
Hybrid athleticism is a philosophy not just a set of fun exercise. It makes you think beyond what you defined fitness.
It makes you think multidimensional. And then the physical work begins.
People do it because they want to test their all fitness parameters and not just one.
You become a hybrid athlete in the mind first and then you test how far you can go. FOMO is not enough. So celebrate those who attempted it because they refused to believe in just one direction
