@JAMBHQ We understand that there's a deadline for the admission process for tertiary institutions. As a concerned student of the Obafemi Awolowo University. The majority of the aspirants who choose Obafemi Awolowo University as their first choice in the ongoing admission process haven't been admitted.

They are all stucked at Admission in progress, as we all know that the Jamb body is in charge of the admission process.

Please we would love to ask you to make clarifications on what's stalling the whole admission process. Aspirants have been on AIP for the past weeks and they haven't experienced changes on their CAPS which forced them to be at home while the institution has resumed for its semester.

As a concerned student, I would imploy the jamb body to please hasten up the admission process so that aspirants CAPS can change to admitted so that they can have access to their admission letter and resume school as soon as possible. And if there are other clarifications, please we would love it to be made.

I await your response in this regard.

PRESS RELEASE
TEMPORARY OFFICIAL COST OF TRANSPORT.
Following a series of meetings with the leaders of the transport unions (Town gboro), we are pleased to announce the temporary agreed transport prices for students. These prices have been set to ensure fairness and prevent extortion by drivers. We urge students to familiarize themselves with these new prices to avoid overcharging and to report any driver or bike operator who refuses to comply with the new prices.

It is important to note that these prices are temporary, given the current economic situation. Both the union and transport leaders have agreed to reconvene and review the rate should the price of petrol decrease in the future.

In the meantime, we strongly advise all students to adhere strictly to the official price guidelines as provided by the Students' Union. Students are to pay only the stipulated amounts and are encouraged to report any violations. In cases of aggressive behavior from violators, students should avoid confrontation. Instead, record the Cartrec number or vehicle plate number and promptly report the incident to the Union.

We remain committed to protecting the interests of students and ensuring a peaceful, fair transport system on our campus.
