But now in marriage, I have done them all and more.
I have been the one paying the rent.
I have bought her not less than 8 phones.
I have bought her hairs.
I feed and clothe her.
She's on monthly salary.
I have bought her 2 cars.
She only goes to church on Sundays and for no more than 2 hours.
She knows what I earn from my regular job and from X.
She doesn't beg me for money, she owns the money.
And she has two lovely children for me.
God blessed me through my lovely wife.
And I am so proud of her.
There are things that I can brag about as a married man that I know a lot of married men cannot brag about.
When I was dating my lovely wife:
1. I did not buy her a phone
2. I did not pay her rent
3. I never gave her money to make her hair
4. I did not help her family financially
5. I did not steal to impress her
6. I never begged her not to leave me
7. I did not kneel to propose to her
8. I did not quarrel with her oner another man
9. She did not beg me for money
10. She's not a religious woman
End.
🚨EXCL : Arsenal will officially open talks with Aston Villa to sign Morgan Rogers in the coming weeks. There is a real willingness from the English Champions to get a deal done at a reasonable price. Fee will be the key. Personal terms are no issue at all.
What happened in this court today was both saddening and funny.
A tenancy matter was called. The landlord’s lawyer announced his appearance, and the tenant, a woman probably in her 40s, appeared in person. The landlord’s lawyer informed the court that the tenant was in arrears of rent and had refused to vacate the property despite being served with the statutory notices.
The Registrar asked the tenant for her response to the counsel’s submission, and she confirmed the position completely. She then sought permission to address the court, which the court obliged. That was when the following conversation ensued:
Tenant: "I have been owing rent since May last year. I had been gathering the money to pay, but then my son was diagnosed with kidney disease. I spent all the money on him because we had to do weekly dialysis, which was later changed to monthly." (At this point, she was already sobbing, and tears had started falling). "In the middle of all this, my husband, who didn't contribute a single dime to my son’s medical bills, was caught sleeping around with another woman and even went ahead to marry her. While my son was still sick, I fell ill too from the shock of my husband marrying another woman. So, I beg the court to give me just a little time to gather the money so I can pay the landlord because I don’t have anywhere to go."
Court: "I am not the owner of the property. Have you told this story to the landlord’s counsel?"
Tenant: "No. Anytime I called the landlord’s lawyer, he would direct me to the landlord, and whenever I reached out to the landlord, he would direct me back to his lawyer."
Court: "Where is the landlord?"
Counsel: "The landlord is in court, My Lord."
Court: "Landlord! Where are you?"
Landlord (a man in his late 50s or early 60s, standing up): "Yeah."
(Almost all the lawyers in court immediately muttered, "Yes, sir!" subtly correcting him, because you don’t use "yeah" in a court).
Court: "And you are dressed so well, yet you are behaving like a bush person." (Everyone in the courtroom laughed). "Have you heard the tenant’s story before now?"
Landlord: "No, My Lord."
Court (turning back to the tenant): "Okay. Now Madam, in this life, there are challenges and you cannot avoid them. One can only pray to overcome them. You see, you don't need to be shocked that your husband married a second wife. It is not a crime under Lagos law. You should just focus on your children. Even me, I am from a polygamous family, and I have never promised my wife that I won't take a second wife."
(At this point, everyone in court was feeling sad for her, but at the same time laughing at the way the court was delivering its remarks).
Court: "So, your husband is not the end of the world. You can divorce him. You can even get a new husband; there are lots of men looking for single mothers. In fact, most times, landlords end up marrying single-mother tenants who cannot pay their rent. Right now, you are occupying a two-bedroom apartment. The landlord could get you a room-and-parlor self-contained apartment for free. As I’m looking at the landlord, he must be polygamous."
Landlord (who was now smiling from one side of his mouth): "The property is a lease, My Lord. And the lease will expire in two years. So, we need to use the property."
Court: "That is exactly what I am saying. Thank God your counsel is an elderly person. You can all sit down, talk, waive a part of the arrears, and move forward from there. I will adjourn this matter for trial/report of settlement."
Everyone in court burst into laughter. The ending was so pleasing that the only reason we didn't clap for the court was courtroom etiquette. We just laughed out loud.
Thank you for listening ⚖️🇳🇬
I was randomly thinking about this Riquelme guy, and how he said he was gonna sign Haaland if he wins😭
He wanted to use Florentino Perez’ playbook on him😂😂
In year 2000, Perez told the Real Madrid socios to vote for him for president, that if he wins, he’ll sign Luis Figo😂
You know the crazy part? The sitting president had won two champions league in 3 years. In fact, they just won a champions league, he was successful. You wonder how Perez was going to unseat him 😂
Figo was the best player in the world, in fact, he won BDOR later that year, and he was a Barcelona player. Perez had to look for something to say to convince people to vote him and not vote a successful president.
Then he came up with a masterplan, he said if he wins the election, he’ll sign Figo. In fact, he said the best players ought to be playing for Real Madrid and he’ll bring them here, that was the start of the Galacticos era (Zidane, Delima, Beckham, etc joined after Figo…up till Cristiano, Kaka, Mbappe…till date, Perez has kept that word).
Signing Figo was an impossible feat. Figo was a Barcelona player, it’s impossible…and Figo had a release clause of 60m. No player has ever been signed for that amount. Record sale was Christian Vieri for £30 to Inter Milan.
Figo loved Barcelona, he was a god there, how will Perez convince him to sign? No top Barcelona player should move to Real Madrid. If you want to understand better, think of Messi in his prime going to Real Madrid, exactly!!!
First thing Perez did was call Paulo Futre who was a friend to Figo. He told him the plan, Futre then got in touch with Figo’s agent, Jose Veiga.
FP promised them some mad money, he said if they can make the deal happen, Futre will get 1.5m euros and Veiga will get 3m euros, which they eventually both got.
Futre was also the reason Veiga got up to that amount, because he lied to Perez that Veiga wanted more money as agent commission😅, he didn’t only lie to Perez, he lied to Figo’s agent and deceived him to sign a pre-contract.
Veiga couldn’t resist that money, Figo will also be paid x4 of the wages he was earning at Barcelona. Veiga was desperate for Figo to join. Figo did not sign any pre-contract, it was his agent, Veiga…Veiga claimed he got a go ahead from Figo to sign it, but Figo denied it.
This is where it gets crazy, the pre-contract agreement that Veiga signed on behalf of Figo had a clause. Gosh Perez is crazy. Perez included a clause that if he wins the presidency, and Figo doesn’t come to Madrid, Figo/Veiga will pay him 30m euros😂😂😂, and Veiga signed it.
When Veiga told Figo about Madrid’s interest, Figo told him to meet Barcelona’s hierarchy to tell them about the fact that a club (no mention of Real Madrid) was willing to pay off his release clause, but he doesn’t want to leave Barcelona, so they should improve his contract.
Gaspert was Vice President of Barcelona then, and was contesting for presidency too. He called whatever Veiga told him a bluff, no one could pay that release clause, they also just improved Figo’s contract a year before, so he felt Figo was greedy.
Anyways, the media started the rumour, it’s one of the craziest saga in football history. Figo was the biggest player in the world, everywhere went crazy. They would capture Figo’s agent in meetings with Perez, they would monitor Figo everywhere. Real Madrid players like Roberto Carlos and Hierro said they never believed it was going to happen.
Figo felt under-appreciated because the hierarchy weren’t taking him seriously, but he still didn’t want to leave.
Perez had now won the election. Figo said he’s not leaving Barcelona. Perez then asked Veiga to pay the 30m😂
Veiga almost ran mad, where would he get that money? Figo didn’t care, he wasn’t the one that signed the pre-contract. Veiga had to beg Figo to please go to Madrid, or if he wasn’t gonna go, can he just have a meeting with Perez to just talk things out.
Figo decided to meet with Perez, who convinced👇🏽
Figo more, he said he wants to build a team of superstars…and Figo was going to be the first. He said Figo should forget about the 30m, he should just come to Real Madrid, they were going to win everything.
Gaspert had also won the Barcelona presidential election. He said Figo called him at midnight and told him that he had two tickets from Lisbon, one to Barcelona and one to Real Madrid (don’t forget players were on holiday, it was summer, that’s the reason Figo was in Lisbon).
Figo told him to pledge on improving his contract, gave him a specific amount, something around this, but Gaspert said he can’t do such, and it’s even midnight (Figo denied saying that).
Figo then flew to Real Madrid next day to sign, the football world went crazy. Please watch the day Figo was unveiled as a Real Madrid player. He wasn’t even happy, he didn’t want to go, but he said Perez showed him that he had value, and Barcelona hierarchy were messing with him.
The video of Figo at Camp Nou is one of the most circulated video of betrayal in the football world. Barca hosted Madrid in a la Liga match. 100,000 people filled up Camp Nou, and it was against Luis Figo not even against Madrid.
They chanted all through the game. In fact, when Figo got off the bus, about 10 policemen had to guard him because the crowd were ready to burn him.
They made chants about his girlfriend being a whor£, they attacked his family, they printed notes of money with his face on it to show that he chose money, they labelled him a traitor. He had never seen such hate in his life. Till date, I don’t think any player has experienced such hate in their life by a fanbase.
Figo couldn’t take corner kicks, police men were on corner flags because the fans were throwing things, it was madness. Barcelona ended up winning that game again😭
Fast forward, Gaspert ended up being arguably the worst president in Barcelona’s history, because after Figo left, Barcelona went trophyless for about 5 years and Real Madrid were winning. In fact, Figo won the league in his first season at Madrid, won the champions league the next season, he won everything in that 5 years at Real Madrid.
He still lives in Madrid till date and says he does not regret leaving, and he didn’t leave to hurt the fans.
Crazy football stories for days mehn.
Few years ago, I was talking to a childhood friend and he was sharing how good life was with him. He told me how much he was making and somehow we got into clothes. He had about 40 natives and he hadn’t worn all, and he had materials he hadn’t seen.
I was happy for him and was very impressed and I started looking forward to when I would have many natives to wear too. On Saturday, I was looking for a particular native and ended up rearranging my wardrobe. While at it, I decided to count my natives and I was overwhelmed.
God wey dey break kola dey pass am round.

On a trip to PH to coach candidates for their NLNG assessment center.
The young man that offered to cover all my costs (return flights, N200k per night suite in a top hotel, security) was in my anon message here begging for N50k to process his passport when he got NLNG job in 2024.
I suspect he may have spent up to N700k on me on this trip.
Frame 3 was his follow-up anon message to me here in 2024, which I forwarded to my PA to sort out.
I had even forgotten until the young man saw here few weeks ago that we were organizing coaching for NLNG candidates in PH in this recruitment cycle again and he reached out to cover all my expenses for the trip!
Main moral
1. One good job changes people's life
2. Can't get tired of saying this: Poor people get jobs in top companies without any connection (someone that can't afford to raise N50k for passport could not have "connect" his way to getting the job)
PS: I hate to talk about my little good deeds and I don't expect any favour in return for anything I do to anyone here and beyond. The main purpose of sharing is to further give hope to others in his shoes today.
Supporting bad governance because it benefits you today is a dangerous gamble.

A broken system eventually serves everyone the same meal.
Every Saturday, men marry their worst enemy with their eyes wide open.
What are you using your money to do for the household??
Why are you working? — for yourself or for the household?
Your kids got sent off from school cause your husband hasn't paid their tuition fees for the academic session, is that how you'll allow your kids to sit at home?? Some of you will pay and still collect the money back from your husband with interest. Are the kids not equally yours?? Are they not your responsibility???
You people will marry nonsense for a wife and come online to paint marriage black.
