@DiscussingFilm I'm not familiar with the Mandela Catalogue beyond its name, but reading a summary on it, I can see a film working; shapeshifting creatures that use psychological torture on humanity sounds like it would make for a decent film.

@DEADLINE Carrie does seem to be one of those stories that is easily adaptable to the modern day, as you can still easily explore those themes and plots even with how technology has impacted high school life.

My point was that Spider-Man has a lot of acrobatic movements and web-swinging, which Insomniac has used three games to master. With Wolverine, his fighting style is a lot different, and it sounds like Insomniac is having a hard time adapting to his fighting style, at least based on Polygon's review.

@DiscussingFilm I know Warner Bros is doing this and not Illumination (although they originally were I believe), but this really looks and feels like Despicable Me but with Cat replacing Gru and the Things replacing the Minions. Even the animation feels like Illumination.

@DiscussingFilm At least they're going for the average length of shows from back in the day, instead of the 8-10 episode lengths we've been getting with streaming. Hopefully it'll give the plot more room to breathe.

I imagine a lot of people are either going through or starting their watchthroughs of the MCU (and related Marvel films like the X-Men) in preparation for Doomsday. There was also that list of films/shows they released that are supposed to be important for Doomsday, so maybe they're watching those.
