@Horrorholic92 @SlasherTrash Also, I think studios are asking where they can take the slasher sub-genre. It’s very stagnant at this point. The franchises will do well but it’s going to be a long time before another original slasher takes the public by storm. I can’t wait for that day though!

@DrButcherMD2 @TheDicebeRollen @bloglovin Right, I’m not denying Carpenters vision wasn’t wholly his own. Clark makes it seem like Carpenter ripped him off a bit. Which I accept The Babysit Murders line of origin as well. I’m just saying Carpenter, from a cinematic perspective, borrowed a lot from BC.
