Eli Roth assembles a great cast, invites them to dinner and then unapologetically slashes his way around the #ThanksgivingDay table in a clever slasher. Roth is all over this #film, & with scenes reminiscent of both Cabin Fever & Hostel, it gives a nice return to form for Roth.

I watched this film for the first time about 20 years ago. Decided to revisit it. The initial concept is good. Just with better direction and writing (and a bigger budget for VFX, I'm convinced a decent movie could have been made 🐍

Sad to hear about the passing of Northern Irish actor Ray Stevenson, probably best known in these circles for playing DC in the British war horror film Outpost (2008). Other roles include Punisher: War Zone, the Thor franchise and Rome.

I'm really hoping for a huge W for Julius Avery with The Pope's Exorcist. I really loved Overlord and thought Samaritan was a good concept not executed to its full potential.
