Some years ago I stumbled across a film based on the horrible monsters, Raymond Fernandez and Martha Beck. Then I found another film based on them. And then another. And another. And finally another!
Come check out my very first ranked movie list:

Terror Firmer (1999): You smell that? There's nothing quite like Troma in the morning!
Here we have the classic tale of a small budget film crew and a serial killer on the loose. Everything goes bad. Loved it

Skinamarink (2022): Shuttered, elusive, suffocating, and a royal mind f*ck - this film is not for everyone. It conjures scary memories of childhood - which, even in the best settings - can be a frightening place.

The Day of the Locust (1975): Oh god. I was pretty confident that I was going to get sucked down some sort of David Lynchian madness, mixed with a healthy dose of emotional chaos, and a hearty meal of existential dread. Yup. Loved it.

Pet Sematary: Bloodlines (2023): By the end I just couldn't keep it together.
Gummo (1997): Soul crushing but beauty here. Harsh beauty only some will find beautiful.
Glorious (2022): A monster, an unraveling mind, and your past coming back for you.

Berserker (1987): I could not hold it together when the song "Cool Dude" made it's appearance.
Melancholia (2011): Depression, anxiety, etc - lies and fears we tell ourselves.
The Pack (1977): Disjointed, quirky, scary dogs. Cujo vibes going on here.

To the Moon (2021): Husband and wife retreat ends badly. Pairs with herbal tea.
Anything for Jackson (2020): Entertaining and PERFECT for a Halloween movie binge.
Under the Silver Lake (2018): Conspiracy theory, cults, and more GALORE: commence!

Nightmare at the End of the Hall (2008): Grab your bestie and girl dinner, enjoy.
Sea Fever (2019): A solid creature feature. Bonus: the nightmare of open waters.
Cold Light of Day (1989): A film you don't want to miss if you're into obscure films.

Planet Terror (2007): Amazing. Why did it take me so long to watch this?
Invaders from Mars (1986): This film mocks while being brilliant. The aliens are AMAZING.
I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020): Soul crushing nightmare of self awareness.

Reptile (2023): What in the L.A. Confidential No Country for Old Men Sharp Objects True Detective Season 1 is this beauty!?
An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe (1970): Never knew I NEEDED to see Vincent Price perform Poe stories in theatrical form. Do now.

Relic (2020) and Freakshow (1995) - these two couldn't be more different.
Relic: This film hits HARD and 100% not for all horror viewers.
Freakshow: I overheard someone say from the TV: "I am the Freak Master!!" Love.

The Lair (2022): I'm a sucker for military horror films. Or even military-esk horror films (e.g. John Carpenter's The Thing, etc).
Yeah, this one starts off strong with a military plane and tiddies. Here we go.

Misbegotten (1997): Let's see what we can do here ... um. This film is about a serial killer who is OBSESSED with getting a woman pregnant. This film is nuts (pun intended), unintentionally hilarious and completely unhinged.

The Alien Factor (1978): Right off the bat, an alien ship crashes and two young lovers, just hanging out in the woods, are victims of the creatures that emerge from this craft.
It just gets wildly off the charts and more charmingly bizarre from there.

A Ghost Story (2017): While the title is totally uninspiring, it is totally accurate. It's painfully accurate and I can't think of any other title.
Overall, ended up quite impressed with this film!

Tell Me A Creepy Story (2023): Folks, this anthology is gross! Not like blood and gore gross - but like sticky, filthy, and just overall stank gross. The stories simply reek of straight up nasty and gag worthy ick. Nice.

The Runner (short horror film, 2022). This is possibly a 40 minute music video. Or it could be a sharp art house film that not everyone will understand. Or, still, it could be just a very creative look into madness, monsters, and music. And I Love it!

Cocaine Bear! Okay, so this film is a goretastic thrill binge of a feature. It cuts right to the chase with the chaos - and the humor. Pretty straight forward, pretty much instant insanity. Loved it! #CocaineBear
