The First Omen (2024) – 5.5/10
Well directed and atmospheric, but much of it felt unnecessary. The second half is stronger and ties in nicely with the original film. As someone who isn’t a big religious horror fan, it didn’t fully land for me, though it has its moments.

Us (2019)
Original, fun and highly enjoyable. Jordan Peele delivers sharp direction with good pacing throughout. Strong performances across the board, especially from Lupita Nyong'o, making this an unsettling and entertaining. I also enjoyed the classic horror references. 7.5/10

I'm not usually a big body horror fan, but this surprised me. Strong performances and a concept that’s uncomfortable without feeling pointless. It’s intense and grim in places, not perfect, but a good watch.

Heretic (2024) – 7/10
Really enjoyed this one. Hugh Grant is brilliantly unsettling and easily the standout. Loved the atmosphere and steady suspense. Not sure the ending fully landed. The church leader added little, but the themes were sharp and very relevant.

Just finished #readyornot, a pretty enjoyable film, #Samaraweaving was very good as per usual along with most of the cast. 7/10
